Brad Nichols is a Professor of Art/Metalsmithing at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. He received his Masters of Fine Arts from Cranbrook Academy of Art and his Bachelors of Science from University of Wisconsin –La Crosse. Nichols has exhibited his work nationally including venues such as the National Ornamental Museum, the Cranbrook Art Museum, and the Alden B. Dow Museum of Science and Art of the Midland Center for the Arts. He has demonstrated and lectured on a variety of topics nationally and his work has been published in books, journals, and magazines such as Ironwork Today 4: Inside and Out, The Lapidary Journal Jewelry Artist,The Anvils Ring and TheHammers Blow.
Brad Nichols is an artist working primarily with metal. Ferrous and non-ferrous metals can be forged, fabricated, and cast, which allow him to opportunities to experiment with form, function, and scale.
